 Verified Tree frogs and much more
I went on this tour to see frogs, and I got to see so much more! Carlos changed course to make sure I got to see the amphibians I came for, and we saw owls, poorwills, scorpions, tarantulas, bats, a grey fox, a possum, and a snake in addition to the variated tree frogs we found. Very unique experience that I recommend for anyone hoping to see the kinds of animals that come out at night.

Carlos was so knowledgeable and helpful. He picked us up from our hotel, taught us techniques for spotting birds together, and made sure we had everything we needed for a morning of birding. We saw over 35 species of birds. He took us for a coffee and a snack. After the tour, he shared all of his photos that he took on his nice camera with us as well as the mornings’ Merlin Life List for our app. He dropped us back off at our hotel. We felt safe the entire morning. My only advice is to bring a little bug spray or wear long sleeves, there were a lot of mosquitos. If you are interested in seeing a lot of different birds in the Cancun region, I highly recommend booking with Carlos. It was worth every penny!

An excellent experience. Carlos was an outstanding naturalist and enthusiastic guide who shared his knowledge and passion for the Yucatán. Half day birdwatching tour with Lugo! Fabulous in every way! Lugo has great knowledge and energy. We went to several different spots and saw almost 50 bird species. We stopped at a very local place for delicious quesadillas. Excellent day and thank you Lugo!!!

 Verified Beautiful morning departure along the zenote route
Excellent experience. The very knowledgeable guide, excellent eye for sighting and with a lot of knowledge to identify the birds we could see. I highly recommend this tour and Carlos, our guide. He picked us up in our accommodation, from there we went to the zenote area and moved along different paths looking for different species of birds. We could find over 60 in a few hours and the experience was really beautiful and exciting.
